Qualification
- Training in pastoral care or social work is a plus
- Knowledge of basic counseling or supportive care is beneficial
- A Bachelor’s degree or qualification equivalent of level 6
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the church’s welfare and support initiatives
- Identify and respond to the needs of members through prayer, visits, and material support
- Organize food drives, welfare outreaches, and community assistance programs
- Work closely with the pastoral team to ensure no member feels neglected
- Maintain records of welfare cases and follow up with beneficiaries
- Mobilize and manage volunteers for welfare-related activities
Requirements for the role

- Organizational skills to manage multiple welfare initiatives
- Spiritual maturity and a heart for caring ministry
- Discretion and sensitivity when handling personal information
Experience
- At least 2 years of involvement in church-based welfare or community outreach
- Experience providing spiritual or emotional support to individuals or families
- Leadership experience in ministry or community service roles is an added advantage
